"KALATEA" Ltd. is implementing a project to increase the efficiency of energy consumption in "KALATEA" Ltd. through investment in RES under Grant Agreement No. BG06RDNP001-4.018-0133-C01/ 29.05.2025 under the Procedure for the selection of project proposals BG06RDNP001-4.018 - "Targets for investments and activities ensuring compliance with environmental components, including RES" under sub-measure 4.2. "Investments in processing/marketing of agricultural products" from measure 4 "Investments in tangible assets" from the Rural Development Program for the period 2014-2020. The subject of the project is the purchase and installation of Local Storage Facilities (LSF) of electrical energy (batteries) at an existing FES, located in Silistra region, municipality. Tutrakan, Belitsa village, "Do Selo" locality. By saving and using the network produced by the FEC electricity through LSS, the reduced electricity from the electricity distribution will be used during the hours when the price of the transmission network is high. In this way, LSS will maximize the effect of FEC as the free solar energy received through the photovoltaic system will add more clean energy to the production facilities and minimize the cost of electricity, which will lead to a direct financial effect of the enterprise. As a result of the project, its main goal is achieved - improving the overall activity, economic efficiency and competitiveness of the dairy enterprise of "KALATEA" OOD by improving environmental protection.
